Thistle…ARGH
It’s everywhere in the pasture. Hubby brush hogs it down where he can, but can’t get to all of it. Fortunately it hasn’t hurt the cows so far. It can be nasty stuff!

Is that the same as musk thistle? That stuff gave dh and me a memorable Saturday once. We dug it up for hours hoping to permanently stunt a patch in a pasture he was caretaking. We actually had a lot of fun. Working together! Yup, we were newlyweds!

I don’t think it’s the same as musk thistle, although a lot of the thistle family look alike.
That is so sweet. I’m not sure that I would have thought it was fun though! LOL
